| One of the main lessons I learned while in Nashville, was that Songwriters must make their songs as appealing as possible in order to get any artist or producer to give them a listen. You basically have 30 seconds to prove that song recorded by a major artist. Now with that said, honestly there are exceptions. I might have a friend who knows somebody who can get a song to an artist, do you have one? I have worked with some of the top songwriters in the business and have recorded demos for them resulting in songs recorded because of quality demos. Dave Lowe, the late Chris Bain, Duncan Houston, Robert Keith are some of the songwriters, with cuts by Alabama, Willie Nelson, Confederate Railroad, John Anderson, and Kenny Chesney and many others.
